The Kittiwana Group’s saplings are studied by research and the species is developed well, easy for plant, grow fast, highly profit and be planted on multi-area. Moreover, the wood is highly resistible to diseases and insects. The wood has good quality and suitable for a wide range of industries such as pulp & paper timber industry, wooden boards, thin wood, plywood lumber, and energy.

Does planting eucalyptus
damage the soil

No

The beliefs in the past about planting eucalyptus will damage the soil and negatively affect the rice fields which is not true

Eucalyptus is a fast-growing wood with high commercial potential
which is a plant that grown without damaging the environment.
Summary of the research in eucalyptus planting on field footpath project
Found that planting eucalyptus that was developed by Kittiwana Group increases the biodiversity of soil microorganisms. In addition, planting eucalyptus trees does not affect the soil but increases the amount of nutrients without any harm effect and the yield of rice and other crops increases constantly. Moreover, plant eucalyptus which bred by Kittiwana Group is also a guideline for use the empty land in effectively way as possible for farmers.
*The saplings used in this research are the sapling of the Kittiwana Group.
